breast implant resource, a company?

The company would have several components. The main components being:

  1. Breast implant content - techniques of surgery, complications, faq, types of implants.
  2. Breast implant forum.
  3. Breast implant pictures.
  4. Plastic Surgeon Directory who are certified by the ABPS (American Board of Plastic Surgery)
  5. Making web pages for plastic surgeons, including video feeds.
  6. Helping surgeons track where the advertising comes from (rewarding staff with $5 Starbucks gift certificate each time someone calls)

Where would money be made (our pricing)?

  1. From surgeons who want to be included into the directory with basic web pages ($3000 to sign up for the first year).
  2. Renewal fees ($750 renewal per year).
  3. Advertising on the forum ($?).
  4. Allowing surgeons to put up their before and after pictures ($?).
  5. Making a delux stand alone webpage for the surgeon ($3000)
  6. Renewal of delux stand alone webpage for the surgeon ($750)
  7. SEO for the delux stand alone webpage (included)
  8. emailing newsletters (6 cents per email)

Little pictures of websites: so cute

The websites are: http://www.surgerytoday.com/ http://www.bigveins.com/ http://www.breastguide.com/ and http://www.modestosurgery.com/

breastaugmentationresource.com

Well, "breast augmentation" is a search time that is much more popular than "breast implnats" as found on my research on google trends ( trends.google.com )

I registered the website breastaugmentationresource.com not sure what to do with it. Perhaps I'll list a bunch of plastic surgeon websites that I know, just to get started with this web page.

Stockton breast augmentation and plastic surgery

Stockton websites. I've been asked several times about our neighboring city and whether we have added that to our ideas of search engine optimization.

Well... here are our websites for that purpose and to spread the news.

Stockton Plastic Surgery

Stockton Breast Augmentation

They both need a little cosmetic lift.

worthy page rank website - it has DMOZ directory and $ worth

www.smartpagerank.com

Checks from various google data centers.

Today it shows my page rank for http://www.surgerytoday.com at 2 with alexa at 5573336.

Another great website is the wayback machine:

comparison of my measly web pages with the national giants loking at things like inlinks.

I had typed the below into an excel spreadsheet but it is not attaching properly, but it still shows the results here.

The impressive one is locateadoc with 1800 inlinks from other domains.

SEO from the plastic surgery world

SEO = search engine optimization.

Did I get any new ideas? Not directly for SEO. Mainly they discussed using titles in the webpages that are relevant and also having inlinks. These are well known SEO techniques. Getting the inlinks takes work.

However; I got some great ideas for website building to help traslate viewership into calls into the office. However, these were things I've seen and thought about, but it is always great to get some ideas and hear it from some one else.

Here are the ideas:
1. Add a "Ask Nicole" picture and email entry
2. Collect email through the web pages and offer things like "special offers" and "newsletters."
3. People in our geographic area searching for plastic surgery also search in neighboring areas. So thus someone in the bay area, CA usually would consider advertising in San Francisco, CA

ASPS GOLD website creation services and hosting plus SEO

I was more drawn toward the internet services being offered to plastic surgeons. I manage the plastic surgery related websites of Surgical Artistry:

Plastic Surgery Modesto
Breast Augmentation Modesto
Tammy Wu Plastic Surgery

I visited a sales person named Martha and she handled the large ASPS booth related to their web services all by herself. It wasn't highly attended. I asked her how much it would cost to design, host and SEO a website. She said they had a Gold package - which included all the above plus the ability to host a video stream. It would cost about $4500 plus $500 per year.

I'm thinking about possibly getting some professional web design done to our pages. I currently design them, but there really isn't much design to them. I tried to do more by using some boxes which breaks up the page and is slightly easier on the eyes.

Here are some non-plastic surgery websites: I offer these as examples of my work. These are restaurants in Modesto. One day, I just felt like write a little about these restaurants. Plus Vito's didn't have a web page (at least not at the time of the web page writing)

Bacchus Modesto - made use of some rectangles, but I must say that my choice of colors are pretty poor
Gallettos Modesto - better use of rectangles and graphics
Vitos Modesto - currently has no use of rectangles/tables - just word processing

I then continued to improve with these webpages - these were blog style writings:

Breast Augmentation Sacramento / Spa Owner
Red Bow Weddings
Natrelle Breast Implants

Anyway, that's it for now...

Plastic Surgery 2007 - Baltimore Conference

I'm at this conference with a ton of plastic surgeons. They're watching videos of each other operating and watching each other inject each other with the latest fillers. What a sight. Today was the first day of this conference. It rained so miserably in the morning, I started missing Modesto, CA. Highlights of today was visiting the ASPS web services booth. ASPS stands for American Society of Plastic Surgeons. More details on the ASPS web services in the next post.

Next year's packing reminders:
  • Bring ear plugs
  • Bring umbrella
  • Bring more to wear because it is so cold in these conference centers

First blog

Believe it or not. This is my first time trying out this blogging program. I thought I would write the "test" blog.
