When to replace breast implants if there had been no complications?
My personal philosophy on this issue is the following:
If someone has had breast implants for a long time (does not matter how long > 10 years), and they are perfectly happy with the results of the surgery, and they do not have any complications, I tell these patients to leave them alone. The implants are safe and durable. Who is to say that the next set of implants that they get will not spontaneously leak or break within1 year, 5 years, or 9 years, in which case they may need to have them replaced again. They may also develop complications from an unnecessary surgery, and it is worthwhile to weigh the risks and benefits.
However, if someone wants to always have a warranty on their implants, then they would have to replace it every 10 years, as the warranty runs out at the end of the 10th year.
If someone has complications, breast pain, abnormal shape, or capsular contracture, then regardless of how long after the implantation, I would recommend a formal evaluation. After the evaluation, then I will make my recommendations as to what course of action to take.

Paid some bills
How come bills are always higher and higher? They keep going up. That must be some rule of nature or something. The electricity here is about 400 bucks. The phone lines are about 400 bucks.
Wow. Well, the accounts are about $2000 bucks per year - this sounds like a good deal considering how much we pay in just utilities and phone lines.

sushi Gardens.... ahhh... that's where we went today. My turn on the bill end.
The 4 of us ate till we couldn't eat anymore. The line there wasn't out the door like the other days and we even got a great parking spot.
After that we sent off some Soi Candles to be sent off as gifts. Tax included, to make the tax man happy.
We sell these soi Candles for about $25 dollars. I wonder if people would appreciate these as gifts. I also wanted if they would be sold well.

Kristin Lee, Violinist
Modesto symphony Concert featured 21 year old violinist Kristin Lee. She is currently in her last year at Juilliard. This being her 10th year at Juilliard due to her time spent as a Pre-College student. Her teachers include Dorothy DeLay, Catherine Cho, and Itzhak Perlman.
She played the Mendelssohn violin concert in E minor. She played it well with great musicality. I heard slides that reminded me of Itzhak Perlman - the influence is evident. She had firm control of the of the double stops and octaves in the second movement and full control over her wonderful trills.
During the second movement (of the Saturday performance), there was an audience member who fainted due to medical problems, but she continue to captivate the audience despite the ushers and audience doctors who were trying to help. We hope the woman is ok. The last movement was played lightly and very bird-like, as it was intended in my mind. She had full control of her instrument and didn't seem strained.
Bravo.

What did I do today?
I flew back to Modesto... from the East Coast.
That was not without working on http://www.breastguide.com entitled Modesto Breast Augmentation.
I couldn't figure out why the page rank dropped to 2. I believe it was 4 before. But before then the website was dedicated to breast cancer. Must be a judgemental thing in terms of importance by Google.

breast implant resource, a company?
The company would have several components. The main components being:
- Breast implant content - techniques of surgery, complications, faq, types of implants.
- Breast implant forum.
- Breast implant pictures.
- Plastic Surgeon Directory who are certified by the ABPS (American Board of Plastic Surgery)
- Making web pages for plastic surgeons, including video feeds.
- Helping surgeons track where the advertising comes from (rewarding staff with $5 Starbucks gift certificate each time someone calls)
Where would money be made (our pricing)?

However; I got some great ideas for website building to help traslate viewership into calls into the office. However, these were things I've seen and thought about, but it is always great to get some ideas and hear it from some one else.

ASPS GOLD website creation services and hosting plus SEO
I was more drawn toward the internet services being offered to plastic surgeons. I manage the plastic surgery related websites of Surgical Artistry:

Tammy Wu Plastic Surgery
I visited a sales person named Martha and she handled the large ASPS booth related to their web services all by herself. It wasn't highly attended. I asked her how much it would cost to design, host and SEO a website. She said they had a Gold package - which included all the above plus the ability to host a video stream. It would cost about $4500 plus $500 per year.
I'm thinking about possibly getting some professional web design done to our pages. I currently design them, but there really isn't much design to them. I tried to do more by using some boxes which breaks up the page and is slightly easier on the eyes.
Here are some non-plastic surgery websites: I offer these as examples of my work. These are restaurants in Modesto. One day, I just felt like write a little about these restaurants. Plus Vito's didn't have a web page (at least not at the time of the web page writing)

Plastic Surgery 2007 - Baltimore Conference
I'm at this conference with a ton of plastic surgeons. They're watching videos of each other operating and watching each other inject each other with the latest fillers. What a sight. Today was the first day of this conference. It rained so miserably in the morning, I started missing Modesto, CA. Highlights of today was visiting the ASPS web services booth. ASPS stands for American Society of Plastic Surgeons. More details on the ASPS web services in the next post.
Next year's packing reminders:
- Bring ear plugs
- Bring umbrella
- Bring more to wear because it is so cold in these conference centers
